The Concept

It didn't take a lot of brainstorming for me to come up with the name 'A Fawn's Home'. It encompassed an energy and warmth that I truly identify with, I mean, for years I have truly felt like fawns are my spirit animals. The totem of a deer combines both soft, gentle qualities with strength and determination. I strive to have the ability to move through life and obstacles with grace, even though it's easier said than done ! And, I constantly remind myself to be in touch with my inner child and innocence. Fawns to me are a reminder to not to be too hard on myself. Still the voice of the self critic and treat yourself with gentleness and understanding, be yourself and continue along your path. Seek out your inner treasures and use them generously to help those around you. Trust that kindness and graciousness will be well received.

Over the years my desire to have a home of my own bloomed and it honestly made me stop and questioned - 'What it means to have a home'. To me,  home is a place where I can open my heart and fall head over heels for my passion and wildest dreams, with love and support. It's not the physical geography or the roof that is over my head, it's who I am with and the values we share. I carry home with me as long as I remember to bring gentleness and grace in every aspects of my life, even in the most challenging moments. To always maintain my innocence and gentleness so I can share my open-heartedness with others. One day, I hope to look back at this blog and see the different yarns that had been used to weaved and loomed into what I call as home.
